Personally, I believe in the power of network marketing. I
believe it is a wonderful idea as it makes business success more
readily available to the average person -- with or without
previous business experience or education.
However, it is not the average person who enjoys huge success
atop a powerful network marketing organization.
Unfortunately, there has been too much misinformation,
dishonesty, and of course, our old friend 'hype' involved in the
business.
Still, as with anything, ...

THE WAY IT WAS
on 2010-08-30
Let me, first mention the history of the MLM/networking
industry. Networking was founded on the principles of great
products and the sharing of such. In fact, the oldest direct
sales company in America is now a network marketing company
based on the sales of products and sharing the concept of
retailing products to make money, but through a strategy of
networking in order to find others who will do the same.
The answer to the "Which Comes First" question really rests with
the business ...

SHOULD YOU SEARCH THE INTERNET FOR HEALTH SOLUTIONS?

As a young person growing up in Columbus, Ohio, I used to be in
awe whenever I went to the huge public library there. There were
masses and volumes of information available on just about any
subject you could possibly be interested in. Back in those days,
however, it took a long time to locate what you were looking
for, to take notes, and do all the needed research. Even today I
admire those massive buildings, which are filled with so much
knowledge shared by ...

An Illuminatus Speaks

An Illuminatus Speaks:
You will have to decide if this Illuminatus speaks with forked
tongue or not. There is no black and white to the matter as I
see it.
I have not read a lot of Alan Watts, because people have always
told me I sound like him. I promise that even if you think that
someone sounds like you or thinks as you do ' this is one book
that will challenge many things that we all must question. Here
is one of many things said by Watts which I agree with.
'Faith is an openness and ...

Gurdjieff #3
on 2010-08-26
Division of Attention. Gurdjieff encouraged his students to
cultivate the ability to divide their attention, that is, the
ability to remain fully focussed on two or more things at the
same time. One might, for instance, let half of one's attention
dwell in one's little finger, while the other half is devoted to
an intellectual discussion. In the division of attention, it is
not a matter of going back and forth between one thing and
another, but experiencing them both fully simultaneously. ...

Gurdjieff and Mind Controllers #1
on 2010-08-25
The dance that Gurdjieff saw the people of Tibet use to enhance
their spiritual discipline became almost the only tool he used
to teach his French and other students from his Parisian École
which includes the name Priory. That leads me to wonder about
the Protocols used by his Russian patron the Czar; and his
involvement in giving Hitler the Swastika. I have also
considered the involvement of Bernard Baruch as a Gurdjieffian
student and his Merovingians who benefited so much from the wars
of ...

Spiritual Awakening
on 2010-08-24
As we proceed further into the 21st century there is even more
of a feeling that humanity as a whole is hearing "a calling".
Most of the clients in the realm that talk about this describe
it as an "awakening" or experiencing an "enlightenment" or a
"need for transformation." For some this process, a spiritual
awakening is a gentle process develops as a consequence of many
years of seeking, and researching practices having to do with
self-development. This is the type of seeker who wants ...

Blues for Buddha
By Jed McKenna
Being critical of Buddhism isn't easy.
Buddhism is the most likable of the major religions, and
Buddhists are the perennial good guys of modern spirituality.
Beautiful traditions, lovely architecture, inspiring statuary,
ancient history, the Dalai Lama ' what's not to like?
Everything about Buddhsim is just so... nice. No fatwahs or
jihads, no inquisitions or crusades, no terrorists or pederasts,
just nice people being nice. In fact, Buddhism means ...

Is there something beyond me?

'Is there something beyond Me?'
Have you ever heard the term, 'postmodernism'? Do you agree with
it? Postmodernism is the enlightened philosophy of the
intellectual and the seeker. Actually to me, it seems to be a
repackaging of the former philosophy, existentialism. Remember?
Existentialism was the rage of the 1960s, especially on college
campuses and the Viet Nam War protests. We were told that we
existed first, and then we discovered ...
